Article Finder

Article Finder gives the library the opportunity to let users explore the library's licensed electronic resources that are related to an article (or article citation) that is in hand, rather than starting in a databases list of citations. For example, if a professor wants to offer a list of WebBridge LR resources for an article being cited in class, Article Finder can create a static link that can be embedded in your institution's courseware that will link directly to a WebBridge LR panel with links to Full Text and other resources related to that article.

Using Article Finder

To access the Article Finder form, either select the entry from the WebBridge LR management list (seen on the right), or access this URL: http://Librarycatalogaddress/openurlform?genre=article

This form is controlled by the article.html file that exists in your Millennium Administration's Web Master mode, and can be customized and styled. Once the form is populated, click "Find Article" to access the WebBridge LR panel with resources for the desired article. If full text of that article is available in the library's array of online resources (as configured within WebBridge LR), then the link to Full Text will be available, along with other resources.

Copy the URL from the Address Bar, and then it can be placed as a static link in courseware, emailed to faculty, staff or students, or embedded into a course webpage.
