From the Admin Corner menus (non-Sierra) you can print a list of items on Course Reserve AND the number of times those items have circulated. This function has not yet migrated to Sierra. If you do not see this function in your Admin Corner, contact Innovative Interfaces and ask for it to be turned on.
NOTE:
If printing from a review file, the review file must contain course records, not item records.
To access the file, open a Admin Corner session and enter C > CIRCULATION subsystem > COURSE Reserve List Maintenance > Z Print a list of Courses). In this mode, you can print a list of courses and their associated bibs or items from a review file or a range of records.
Review file: Prior to printing a list of courses from a review file in the Admin Corner you need to create the review file(s).
Printing from a Review File:
- Select Z > Print a list of courses
- Use a review file? (y/n) Y
- Choose a list from the list of review files. If your review file does not contain course records you will get the error message, "The file "[name]" does not contain COURSE records" and be asked to select another review file.
- You are then prompted to answer the question "Print list using permanent location code?" (y/n)
- Select method of printing.
Printing from a range of records:
- Select Z > Print a list of courses
- Use a review file? (y/n) N
- Enter range of records to be searched
- Is the range correct? (y/n) Y
- Print list using permanent location code? (y/n)
- Select method of printing.
The Course Reserves printout is hard-coded and therefore not modifiable. The maximum number of characters printed in any field is 30. You can also print course information directly from a Course record using Sierra.
