WebPAC Customization
There are three fundamental elements to consider when customizing the WebPAC. These elements are:
  • Presentation - the look and feel of the WebPAC.
  • Content - the information that is displayed in the WebPAC.
  • Functionality - how things work and the consistency of the results.

How well these elements are integrated will determine the usability of your WebPAC. It is important to understand that these elements often overlap.

For example, a website may be visually attractive (good presentation) but content poor or marginally functional, which would make for a less than adequate user experience. Likewise, a content rich site may not attract as many return visits as it should if it is visually distracting or boring. Simply put, greater usefulness and usability means a higher quality user experience.

  • Highly functional, content rich, well presented sites deliver the highest quality user experience.
  • All three of these elements should be taken into account when making customizations to the WebPAC. In general, if it's on a browse screen and it's editable, it can be done through a Web Option.
