Other Pages
WebPAC offers the ability to include additional content with incoming feeds. You can add links to your library pages such as calendar of events, news from your community, and also links to other Internet URLs such as newspapers, CNN, and more. This can be done in the opacmenu.html, mainmenu.html, srchhelp, and via the command link /feeds (feeds.html), and any new html page you incorporate in the /screens directory of your Millennium server using a token:

<!--{RSS:[URL]:[MAX ITEMS]:[DISPAY DESCRIPTIONS]:[DISPLAY DATE/TIME]:DISPLAY IMAGE/TITLE]}-->

The feeds.html page is a default page provided by the system and does not require additional software to display the website which URLs have been added to it.

These external pages cannot be scoped because they are not part of the database.

NOTE: IGR The /feeds command link does not access files in the /http/live/feeds directory. The /http/live/feeds directory is used to store cached incoming feeds. You should not add non-XML files to the /http/live/feeds directory under any circumstances.
