Introduction
WebBridge LR is a link resolver solution that allows patrons to link to appropriate electronic resources from external reference resources. In most cases, the library wants to link the patron from a citation to the full text of an article. Each resource is offered only if specific criteria are met based on elements from the citation and OpenURL. These related resources can be categorized under library-defined services such as full-text availability, general reference resources, encyclopedias and holdings at nearby libraries.
This tutorial is intended as a guide for setting up new origins and resources along with all the associated parameters, and as a reference tool for later questions. It covers such topics as creating and modifying resources, categories, origins and data tests, defining the display, and generating statistics.
For library staff new to WebBridge LR, this tutorial can be used as the menu based approach. Using the navigation menus at the top of the tutorial, you can find the topic you are interested in and go directly there.
