Card Creation |
From Serials Check-in mode, Millennium lets users create a checkin card in either Simple or Advanced modes. Simple mode allows users to check in cards with two levels of enumeration (volume and issue for example). Advanced mode allows users to create up to six levels of enumerations plus two alternate levels that conform to the full MARC 21 standard.
To create a card, select the Card tab and then Create Card. The Create Card dialog box will open. If you have just created a holdings record, the Create Card dialog box will open automatically if you have selected "Create checkin card when creating holdings record" as part of your Settings for New Records, Options for New Holdings Records at Admin | Settings | New Records tab.
