| Create a Holdings Field | ||||

After you have created your caption and pattern field, you can begin creating the holdings statement. Choose Add New Range to add additional ranges:
The OPAC View area shows exactly how the holdings statement appears in the Web OPAC. Any public notes you created also display in the OPAC View area. To add a public note that corresponds to any selected range, type the note in the Note box on the left side. The note will appear at the end of the range as shown in the OPAC view box and is viewable by patrons. Non-public notes are viewable by staff only.
If you want to edit the holdings statement, you simply click on the range in the OPAC View area; alter the text boxes in the Holdings editor (lower section); and then choose Apply Changes to complete your edits.
