This option helps the claiming system work properly by using the ARRIVED date of the most recently received issue to adjust the EXPECTED dates of future issues.
Despite your best efforts, you may discover that your actual arrival dates are getting later and later than you had predicted. When this happens and you would like to change the expected dates of the remaining issues, highlight the box for the latest ARRIVED issue plus any remaining expected issues (not supplements or indexes).
Choose Tools | Box menu | Refresh expected dates. Our example has expected dates for the first of the month, when it really has been and will continue to arrive toward the end of the month. We will change the remaining boxes. You can see that the expected dates are changed from the 1st of the month to the 24th of the month:
