This will create an item record for any box with the status of ARRIVED. The item record is then "associated" with the box and will display in the Modify Box window when you edit the parameters of a box. It is useful for creating item records after the issues have already been checked in. The enumeration from the box is automatically copied into the volume field in the item record. Highlight the box or boxes and choose Tools | Box menu | Create item for box. We will create an item record for an arrived box:
